Irrigation Timers

An irrigation timer switches your pump on and off automatically, so your plants get water at fixed moments even when you're not around. Currently you'll find the SMSCOM STC Nutrimatic Timer here, designed for controlling pumps in hydro, coco and drip systems up to 2000W. Short, frequent cycles suit coco and drippers; soil usually needs fewer, larger waterings. Test your schedule for a few days and check run-off before relying on it fully. Combine the timer with a pump from submersible pumps and a reservoir from flexible water tanks.

SMSCOM STC Nutrimatic Timer 2000W | Automatic Irrigation Control: product details and use

The SMSCOM STC Nutrimatic Timer 2000W was developed specifically for automated plant irrigation in indoor and hydroponic systems. Unlike conventional timers that use fixed intervals, the Nutrimatic Timer works on an innovative principle: it spreads the set total irrigation time evenly across the day.

This means that instead of a few long waterings, your plants receive frequent, short irrigation cycles, which comes closest to natural conditions. The growing medium is moistened regularly but not flooded, and the roots can take up water and nutrients efficiently.

The timer can run pumps and irrigation systems up to 2000 W and is ideal for drip irrigation, hydroponic systems, coco or soil setups. Its precise control optimises nutrient uptake and minimises the risk of waterlogging.

Operation is straightforward: use the dial to select the total irrigation time per day.
