A home grower with one or two tents on pure RO water at the top dose gets through several runs; with slightly soft tap water at low doses it lasts much longer.

Finding your dose

Start by measuring the EC of your source water. The softer it is, the closer to 1 ml/L you go; tap water with some minerals needs much less. Add Calmag first and stir, then add your base nutrients and check EC and pH of the final mix. In a 20 L tank, that is 2–20 ml.

Good to know

Atami advises mixing at around 21 °C water temperature for the best results. Calmag works on every substrate, not only coco.

Specifications

Volume: 1 L

Range: ATA

Analysis: N 6 (w/w) with calcium, magnesium and iron

Dosage: 0.1–1 ml/L
