Then your feed often ends up too acidic once the nutrients are in. A 500 ml bottle of pH+ covers one or two cycles in a home grow.

What it does

Plagron pH+ (25%) is a concentrated pH up that brings your nutrient water into the range of pH 5.5–6.5. At that pH your plants take up nutrients in the right proportions, which supports steady growth in veg and bloom. It's a 25% solution (NPK fertiliser 0-0-25), works with every irrigation system and comes with a child-safe cap.

How long 500 ml lasts

How far 500 ml goes depends entirely on your water and your nutrients, which is why Plagron doesn't give a fixed dose. Because it's a 25% solution, you usually only need a few drops per watering can, so in a home grow one bottle tends to last a good while.

In practice

Mix your nutrients first, then add pH+ drop by drop and stir until your meter or strips read 5.5–6.5. How much you need depends on your water and nutrients, so always measure. Don't use it to correct an overdose of pH Min, as that changes the NPK of your feed, and wear gloves. A pipette or small syringe gives you far more control than pouring from the bottle. Close the child-safe cap after every use and store the bottle out of reach of children.
