Seedlings and cuttings like the warm end, around 24 to 26 °C. Late in flowering, many growers go a few degrees cooler (around 20 to 26 °C), which can help colour and avoid damp problems. Above about 30 °C most plants slow down, and below about 18 °C everything crawls and the risk of mould goes up.
Measure at canopy height with a thermo-hygrometer, for example the Garden HighPro thermo-hygrometer. A sensor on the floor tells you very little.
