Coco fibre combines good water retention with plenty of air around the roots, which is why many growers use it for fast, controlled growth. Right now this collection holds the Supreme Coco Brick XL, a compressed brick that expands to about 50 litres of substrate once soaked. Hydrate the brick fully, loosen it up and, if needed, buffer it with a calcium-magnesium product before planting. Coco holds few nutrients of its own, so feed with a dedicated coco nutrient, such as the coco lines from Canna or Athena, and water little and often. Compare other media in substrates.
