Atami High Porosity Cocos 50 L is a washed, buffered and aged coco substrate with 30% perlite. The extra perlite opens up the structure for more air and faster drainage in the root zone, ideal for crops that need a well-aerated root system and for growers who like to water often. One 50 L bag fills several 10–11 L pots, so it is a practical size for a full grow tent.

How to use
Fill your pots loosely, without pressing the mix down hard, and water thoroughly before planting so the substrate is evenly moist. Coco holds little nutrition of its own, so feed with a coco base nutrient such as B'cuzz Coco A&B, together with a Ca/Mg supplement if you use soft water. Because the perlite makes the mix drain faster, Atami advises watering more often than with standard coco.
