Ducting carries air from your tent through the carbon filter and fan to the outside, and its quality affects both airflow and noise. This collection includes Combiconnect ducting from 102 to 406 mm and Combidec Combiconnect ducting from 102 to 356 mm, both in 10 m lengths, plus Sonodec Sonoconnect in 356 and 406 mm, an insulated duct that dampens sound and reduces condensation. Choose the same diameter as your fan and filter, keep runs as short and straight as possible and avoid sharp bends, which cost airflow. Connect with flanges & reducers and hose clamps, and pick a fan in extraction fans.
Questions & answers about Ducting
All growing questions →- Ventilation & odour What fan size (m³/h or CFM) do I need for my grow tent? Work out the tent volume (width x depth x height in m³) and pick a fan that can move at least that much air per minute, so roughly 170 m³... Read the answer →
- Ventilation & odour What is the best ventilation setup for a 1 x 1 m grow tent? An inline fan of roughly 150 to 250 m³/h pulling through a matching carbon filter, some ducting, and one small clip fan inside. Read the answer →
- Ventilation & odour Where should the air intake and exhaust go in a grow tent? Exhaust at the top, where the hot air collects. Intake low, ideally on the opposite side, so fresh air sweeps across the plants. Read the answer →
- Ventilation & odour How do I make my grow tent fan quieter? Turn it down with a speed controller, hang it so it doesn't touch anything, and keep the ducting straight. Read the answer →
