Ventilation & odour

Where should the air intake and exhaust go in a grow tent?

Short answer

Exhaust at the top, where the hot air collects. Intake low, ideally on the opposite side, so fresh air sweeps across the plants.

Make the intake openings generous. If they're too small the fan sucks the walls inward and airflow drops. Most tents have passive vents at the bottom, and that works fine. The goal is a gentle, steady flow through the canopy, not a gale blowing on the leaves.

Ducting and other ventilation parts make it easy to route.
