Hydro substrates are inert media that hold water and air but contain no nutrients of their own, so you feed everything through your solution. Right now this collection holds the Agra-Wool RFX-1 Mix, an Earthwool foam mix sold as a box of three 80 L bags. It's used loose in pots or containers and offers a consistent balance between water retention and drainage, which suits drip irrigation and frequent feeding. Because the medium is inert, accurate pH and EC control matters: use a meter from pH & EC meters. For other media, see substrates or coco substrates.
