Plagron Euro Pebbles 45 L – clay pebbles in bulk for a complete hydro tent
Setting up a full hydro tent, ebb-and-flow tables or a row of large pots? The 45 L bag of Plagron Euro Pebbles fills several large pots and is the economical choice for a complete grow tent. These expanded clay pebbles are made from pure, salt-free clay baked in an open kiln, with firm, clean grains that leave large gaps for oxygen and free root growth.
How many pots one bag fills
45 litres fills about four 11 L pots, or two to three pots of 18 L. In an ebb-and-flow table or a mix with coco, it covers a good part of a typical tent setup.
Why growers use it
Clay pebbles release no organic substances, so they keep pumps, drippers and lines clean: ideal ground for recirculating hydro. Drainage is fast, which makes overwatering almost impossible. Use them on their own or mixed with peat or coco.
Reuse for years
The real saving with a big bag is that the pebbles last. After harvest, remove the old roots, soak the pebbles for 24 hours in water with Pure Zym at pH 5.5, rinse, and they're ready for the next run. Before the very first use, rinse the whole batch to get rid of clay dust, then bring it to the right EC and pH with your nutrient solution before planting. Feed from day one, ideally with Hydro A & B, and water frequently on a timer, at least twice an hour.
