Tent & space

Where in my home can I put a grow tent?

Short answer

Anywhere you can control access, temperature and noise: a spare room, cellar, attic or large closet. Avoid spots that run very hot or damp, or where you can't vent the air out.

Three things decide it: where the exhaust air goes, how far the fan noise carries, and how close you are to power and water. A room that stays at a steady temperature makes life much easier. Tents in a hot attic in summer or an unheated shed in winter are the usual troublemakers.

In a small space, a compact grow box with a quiet inline fan and a carbon filter keeps noise and smell down.
