Quest dehumidifier in a professional grow room

Quest Climate: professional dehumidifiers for your grow room

Precise humidity control is essential for healthy plants and a good yield. Quest makes professional dehumidifiers designed for the demands of indoor growing – from small grow rooms to large commercial facilities.

Why is dehumidification so important?

Your plants release almost all of the water you give them back into the air. Without dehumidification, humidity climbs quickly – especially after lights-off. Too much humidity encourages mould and flower rot, above all in the flowering stage. Many growers aim for roughly 55–70% RH in veg and around 40–50% RH in late flower. A dehumidifier keeps humidity in the target range and protects the quality of your harvest.

The Quest range

The figures below are the manufacturer’s maximum dehumidifying capacities at 26.7 °C and 60% RH:

  • Quest 70: up to 26 litres/day – no longer available; for small grow rooms, go for the Quest 100
  • Quest 100: up to 44 litres/day – compact unit with digital controls for small grow rooms and drying rooms
  • Quest 155: up to 71 litres/day – no longer available; its successor in our range is the Quest 200
  • Quest 200: up to 90 litres/day – for medium-sized grow rooms, drying and production rooms
  • Quest 375: up to 170 litres/day – for professional grow rooms, large drying rooms and warehouses
  • Quest 706: up to 335 litres/day – no longer available; for large commercial grow rooms, go for the Quest 375 or combine several units

Benefits of Quest dehumidifiers

  • High efficiency: energy factors of around 2.2 to 3.9 litres per kWh depending on the model – less power used and less heat added to your room
  • Cleaner air: MERV-13 air filters also trap dust, pollen and mould spores
  • Flexible installation: depending on the model, floor-standing or overhead mounting, and several models can be connected to ducting
  • Precise control: integrated hygrostat (Quest 70), digital controls in 1% steps with dark mode (Quest 100, 200 and 375) or control via an external controller (Quest 706)

Choosing the right size

The right capacity depends on the size of your room, the number of plants, how much you water and the temperature. Keep in mind that the rated capacity is measured at 26.7 °C and 60% RH – at lower temperatures and humidity, the actual output is lower. The Quest 100, for example, removes up to 44 litres/day at 26.7 °C / 60% RH, but around 29 litres/day at 23.9 °C / 50% RH. If in doubt, go a size up so you have enough headroom for warmer months.

Installation and maintenance

Quest dehumidifiers are designed for straightforward installation. Plan a proper condensate drain, and clean or replace the air filter regularly – the Quest 100, 200 and 375 remind you when the filter is due. That keeps your unit performing reliably for years.

Conclusion

With a Quest dehumidifier you get professional humidity control for healthy plants and top-quality harvests. Find the full range in our Quest Climate collection, more models under dehumidifiers and everything else for your grow room climate in climate.
