Organic or mineral nutrients, what's the difference?

Short answer

Organic feeds work through soil life that breaks things down, so they are slower and more forgiving. Mineral nutrients are ready for the roots right away and give you exact control.

Organic suits soil and living soil: microbes convert the feed, so mistakes show up slowly and you have time to correct. Mineral is what most coco and hydro growers use, since a salt is available right away and you can fine-tune EC. The downside is that overfeeding burns faster.

BioBizz is an organic line, CANNA and Plagron have mineral bases. Mixing the two approaches in one pot usually doesn't help. Browse all nutrients.
