Product description
Agra-Wool Starter Kit – 6 Propagation Cubes in Blister Pack: product details and use
The Agra-Wool Starter Kit is the kit for propagating seeds and clones. It contains 6 propagation cubes (Ø 38–40 mm) made from natural basalt-based mineral wool. The plugs are eco-friendly, clean to handle and promote strong root formation right from the start.
Sustainable composition
AgraWool propagation cubes consist of 97% basalt and 3% plant-based binder – completely free of synthetic additives. This makes them an eco-friendly and compostable alternative to conventional rockwool.
Material properties:
Density: 80 kg/m³
Conductivity: 0.1 mS/cm
pH: 7.3
Water-holding capacity (pF 1): 400 ml/ltr
Pore volume: 98%
Easy to use
Take the propagation cubes and the instructions out of the blister pack.
Moisten the plugs lightly by dipping them in water or spraying them.
Place the seed or clone in the hole on top.
Put the plugs back in the blister and press the top gently closed.
Place the blister somewhere bright or under a grow light – it now acts as a mini greenhouse.
Check the moisture of the plugs regularly.
Once enough roots are visible, the young plants can be transplanted into a larger medium – e.g. soil, coco or rockwool.
For professional results
For especially fast root growth, keep the pH between 5.8 and 6.2 and add a root stimulator to the irrigation or soaking water.
You will also need:
Seeds or clones
Root stimulator
pH regulator
Water
Safety and disposal
In case of skin or eye irritation, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Avoid direct contact with dust and protect your skin when handling.
After use, AgraWool plugs can be composted or disposed of with organic waste. Please dispose of the plastic packaging separately with plastic recycling.
