Why growers use it
Many growers want an active root zone but do not want to mix powders into their substrate by hand. Aptus Micromix Drip solves that: it dissolves in water, so the beneficial microlife reaches the roots through your normal watering, by can, drip or flood. The microorganisms and stimulants in it produce enzymes that break down accumulated nutrient salts into usable food, and a lively microbial population around the roots supports rooting and growth. Aptus describes it as 100% organic and suitable for all substrates.
How far 500 g goes
At 1 g per litre the pack treats 500 L of water. If you give it once a month from a 50 L tank, it covers ten applications, which is several complete grows for most home set-ups.
Applying it through drippers
Dissolve the powder fully in the tank and stir well before you switch on the pump, so no undissolved particles reach the drippers. Use it in veg to give young plants a strong start, repeat after 30 days if you like, or use it as a follow-up 21 days after Micromix Soil.
Keep the pack sealed and dry between uses; the carriers are designed for a long storage life.
