Product description
Aptus Micromix Soil 100 g – beneficial microlife powder for the root zone, trial pack
Curious what a living root zone does for your young plants, but only potting up a handful? The 100 g pack of Aptus Micromix Soil is enough for a few plants or a first try. It's a dry powder full of beneficial microorganisms that you mix into the soil or drop into the plant hole, so the root zone is active from day one.
What's inside
Micromix combines selected microorganisms and stimulants, treated to stay stable, on carriers that protect and feed them so the product keeps well on the shelf. The bacteria produce enzymes that break down accumulated nutrient salts into usable food, and a healthy microbial population supports rooting and early growth. According to Aptus it is 100% organic.
How far 100 g goes
Mixed through the substrate at 0.5–1 g per litre, 100 g treats 100 to 200 litres of soil, which is roughly 9 to 18 pots of 11 litres. Used in the plant hole at 1 g each, it covers about 100 plants.
Dosing small amounts
A gram is less than you think: about a quarter of a level teaspoon. A cheap jewellery scale makes it easy. Apply it when you plant or transplant during the growth phase; one treatment is enough. If you like, follow up after 21 days with Micromix Drip.
