Product description
Aptus Mycor Mix 500 g – mycorrhizal inoculant for regular propagators
If you take cuttings every few weeks or keep several tents in rotation, you will get through a small pack quickly. The 500 g tub of Aptus Mycor Mix covers up to 500 plants at the standard 1 g per planting hole, so you can treat every new plant without counting grams.
Why growers use it
Endomycorrhizae link up with your plants' roots and spread a fine network through the substrate. That network multiplies the surface roots can draw water and nutrients from; Aptus states up to 700 times. Better phosphorus uptake shows in flower. The plant-based carrier feeds and protects the mycorrhizae until they find the roots.
Working with 500 g
At this volume a small measuring spoon is handy. Weigh 1 g once, note how full the spoon is, and use that as your measure. Inoculate once, when the plant goes into its pot, with the powder in the hole so it touches the roots straight away. At each transplant, add it to the new medium close to the old root ball.
Use de-chlorinated or rested tap water, since chlorine harms microlife. Keep the tub closed between uses.
