New to Aptus and wondering what the fuss about Regulator is? The 250 ml bottle is the way in. Regulator is a nutrition manager and plant enhancer that Aptus treats as the base of every feeding schedule. It combines mono-silicic acid, which acts as a nutrient transporter, with boron for calcium uptake and fibre production, and molybdenum, which moves nitrogen from the lower to the upper leaves.
Why such a small bottle lasts
Regulator is extremely concentrated at 1:6660. The dose is 1.5 ml per 10 litres, so 250 ml treats roughly 1,650 litres of water. For a single tent that is many runs, which makes the trial size more than just a sample.
Dosing small tanks
1.5 ml is hard to pour, so use a 1 or 2 ml syringe. For a 20 L tank that's 3 ml, for a 5 L can 0.75 ml. Keep the syringe dry and clean: water or dirt in the bottle shortens its life. Always add Regulator first to clean water and stir it in properly before any nutrient goes in. Going above the standard dose slows down stem stretch, which some growers use on purpose.
