Aptus RO Water Conditioner 1 L – pH buffer and Ca/Mg base for RO and soft water
Switched to a reverse osmosis filter and now your pH won't sit still? That's normal: very pure water has almost no buffer. Aptus RO Water Conditioner is a mineral conditioner for RO and soft water that adds hardness back, so your nutrient solution gets a stable pH buffer. The 1 L bottle is a practical size for one or two grow tents.
What's inside
It's a source of calcium and magnesium, with some nitrogen and a small amount of trace elements, made with a precise concentration of selected raw materials. It contains no chlorides, heavy metals or other contaminants and dissolves completely. You can use it in all media, from start to finish.
How far 1 L goes
The dose depends on your water. Per 10 litres: 5 ml for RO water, 2.5 ml for soft water, 1 ml for city water. So one litre conditions about 2,000 litres of RO water, 4,000 litres of soft water or 10,000 litres of city water.
Mixing order
RO Water Conditioner always goes in first: clean water, then conditioner, then Regulator, then the rest of your products. If you're not sure how soft your tap water is, an EC reading of the plain water tells you a lot: the lower it is, the closer you are to the RO dose.
Good to know
It conditions your water; it does not replace CaMg-Boost, which feeds your plants. Keep using both.
