Aptus System-Clean 1 L – oxidiser that keeps drip lines clean and adds oxygen
Drippers that slow down or block halfway through a run are usually caused by biofilm and nutrient build-up inside the lines. For one or two tents on drip or a small irrigation system, a litre of Aptus System-Clean keeps everything flowing for a long time.
What it does
System-Clean is an oxidiser for irrigation and drip systems made with 8% food-grade hydrogen peroxide and colloidal silver. It removes biofilm, helps prevent blockages and build-up of nutrient residue, and raises the dissolved oxygen level in your nutrient solution without changing its pH. Clean lines mean your feed and oxygen actually reach the root zone instead of getting lost on the way. It is a must when you run organic products such as Aptus Startbooster or Topbooster through drippers.
How far 1 L goes
At 2.5 ml per 10 L, one bottle treats around 4,000 L of nutrient solution. With a 50 L tank that is 12.5 ml per fill, so the litre lasts a very long time.
How to dose
Add it to the tank as the very last product, after you have adjusted the pH, ideally just before each watering. It stays active in the solution for up to three days; if your tank stands longer, top it up with a little extra. Do not leave it mixed with organic products for more than two or three days. Keep it away from enzyme products such as Cannazym, which hydrogen peroxide deactivates.
