Effect & properties

The E300 Pro measures electrical conductivity directly in the root zone, allowing particularly accurate control of nutrient concentration. Thanks to automatic temperature compensation, you always get stable EC readings – regardless of cold, heat or moisture. The probe is designed to penetrate deep into the medium without bending or getting damaged.
The meter is ready to use straight away, responds quickly and gives dependable readings, so overfeeding or deficiencies are spotted early.

Use / dosage

Use

• Insert the probe directly into the moist substrate

• Wait a few seconds until the reading stabilises

• Read the measurement

Calibration:

• 1-point calibration with EC calibration solution

• Regular calibration recommended (every 2–4 weeks)

Notes:

• Clean the probe after use and store dry

• Do not immerse in pure nutrient solution (use the P700 for that)
