AquaKing HX-1500 Circulation Pump – 300 l/h: product details and use
Compact circulation pump for smaller hydro systems
Not every hydro system needs a powerful large pump. Especially with smaller nutrient tanks, propagation set-ups or NFT systems, a compact, energy-saving solution is often the more practical choice. The Aquaking HX-1500 was developed for exactly this job: as a small submersible circulation pump, it keeps the nutrient solution moving without taking up much space or using much power.
Continuous circulation of the nutrient solution is particularly important in smaller reservoirs, because standing water warms up faster there and oxygen levels and nutrient distribution can become uneven. The HX-1500 ensures even mixing and movement of the water in the tank, supporting a more stable environment for the root system. In NFT systems, where a thin film of nutrient solution flows continuously over the roots, the pump has the key task of keeping the nutrient solution circulating.
Use: the HX-1500 is fully submerged in the nutrient reservoir or water tank and connected to your system via a 12 mm hose fitting. It is designed for continuous 24-hour operation and is also suitable for use at low water levels. The pump can be used in both the vegetative and flowering stages and is suitable for NFT systems and smaller hydro set-ups where reliable, continuous circulation matters more than a high flow rate. The pump is suitable for both fresh and salt water and tolerates a typical nutrient solution down to a pH of around 5.0.
Compatibility: the HX-1500 can be used with any nutrient brand and combined with common NFT channels, smaller reservoirs and hose systems from various manufacturers.
