Powerful water circulation for larger growing systems
In larger hydro set-ups or extensive irrigation systems, a small submersible pump is often not enough to deliver nutrient solution reliably to every plant. The Aquaking Q5503 550W was designed for exactly this job: with 550 watts of power and a flow rate of up to 11,000 litres per hour, it moves even large volumes of water quickly and reliably, for example in extensive recirculating systems, larger reservoirs or irrigation systems with several outlets.
In hydro systems such as DWC, ebb and flow or recirculating systems (recirculating deep water culture), the pump keeps the nutrient solution moving continuously. This prevents stagnant, oxygen-poor zones from forming in the reservoir and supports even delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the root system. A well-circulated nutrient solution also reduces the risk of root rot and other moisture-related problems that can occur especially in larger, poorly mixed reservoirs. Thanks to its high flow rate, the Q5503 is also suitable for running several parallel drip lines or for systems where water has to be moved over longer distances or height differences.
Use: the pump is fully submerged in the reservoir or water tank and connected via a hose fitting to your irrigation or circulation system. It is suitable both for continuous operation to circulate nutrient solution and for timed use via a timer or irrigation controller, for example with several irrigation cycles per day in ebb and flow systems. Avoid running it dry, as this can damage the pump. The Q5503 can be used in both the vegetative and flowering stages and is suitable for hydro systems as well as large-scale drip irrigation in soil or coco growing.
Compatibility: the pump can be used with any nutrient brand and combined with common hose systems, manifolds and irrigation and timer controls from various manufacturers.
