High pressure for demanding irrigation systems
Not every submersible pump is equally suited to every application. While many standard pumps are designed mainly for high flow rates, extensive drip irrigation systems with many individual drippers, or larger height differences between the pump and the irrigation point, depend above all on sufficient pressure. The Aquaking Q800103 800W was developed for exactly this job: as a high-pressure pump, it generates significantly more pressure than comparable standard pumps and is therefore particularly suitable for running larger irrigation networks in the grow room.
With 800 watts of power and a flow rate of up to 5,500 litres per hour, the Q800103 still moves water or nutrient solution reliably when many drippers have to be supplied at once or the water has to be lifted a considerable height. Even pressure throughout the system ensures that all connected plants receive a similar amount of water, regardless of their position in the irrigation system. This is especially relevant in larger set-ups, where uneven irrigation can otherwise lead to uneven growth within the same crop.
Use: the pump is fully submerged in the reservoir or water tank and connected to the irrigation system via the hose fitting. It is suitable for running drip irrigation systems with numerous drippers and for applications where nutrient solution has to be moved over a longer distance or height. It is usually operated on a timer or irrigation controller, matched to the number of daily irrigation cycles. Avoid running it dry, as this can damage the pump. The Q800103 is suitable for both the vegetative and flowering stages and can be used in hydro systems as well as drip irrigation in soil and coco growing.
Compatibility: the pump can be used with any nutrient brand and combined with common drip systems, manifolds and irrigation controllers from various manufacturers.
