Atami ATA Calmag 5 L – bulk calcium-magnesium for RO-fed grow rooms
Grow rooms that run every tank on reverse osmosis water go through Cal-Mag steadily, batch after batch. The 5 L can of Atami ATA Calmag keeps you supplied at a better price per litre, with the same mix of calcium, magnesium and iron (N 6 w/w) that brings demineralised water back into balance.
Yield at room scale
Dosed at 0.1–1 ml per litre, 5 L is enough for 5,000 to 50,000 L of water. Filling a 200 L reservoir with RO water at the top dose takes 200 ml, so even at full strength one can covers 25 fills.
Dosing pump or by hand
Because Calmag has to go in before the base nutrients, it is often the first channel on a multi-pump setup. Set it according to your water: around 1:1,000 for pure RO, much less for tap water that already carries some minerals. If you mix by hand, measure in a graduated jug and stir before adding anything else. Check EC and pH at the end.
Good to know
Atami recommends a water temperature of about 21 °C. Store the can closed and frost-free, and it is suitable for every substrate.
