Canna Calmag Agent 5 L – calcium and magnesium in bulk for coco grow rooms
A coco grow room on RO water needs Calmag in every single tank. The 5 L can covers that for a long time and costs about a third less per litre than the 1 L bottle.
Scale: up to 10,000 L
Use 5–10 ml per 10 L of water (0.5–1 ml/L), depending on your water, and add it last, after base nutrients and additives. The 5 L can is therefore enough for about 5,000 to 10,000 L of water. A 200 L tank needs 100–200 ml.
What it does
Canna Calmag Agent adds a balanced amount of calcium and magnesium to soft or reverse osmosis (RO) water and is made to work with Canna Coco. Soft water lacks the Ca and Mg your plants need, and coco binds part of it too. Calmag Agent brings the EC of your base water to about 0.4 and helps stabilise the pH.
At grow room scale
If you run an RO unit, it's worth mixing a batch of base water with Calmag Agent first and checking that it sits at an EC of around 0.4 before adding anything else to the main tank. Allow 24–48 hours before adjusting pH. With very hard water, cut it with RO water first. Keep the can closed, dark and frost-free, and decant a litre for daily dosing.
