Ten litres in practice
At 2 ml per litre this can makes up to 5,000 L of nutrient solution. That is 25 fills of a 200 L tank, or 10 fills of a 500 L reservoir. Even at the 4 ml/L starting dose for fresh clones and transplants, you mix around 2,500 L.
Canna Rhizotonic itself is a plant-based concentrate of the kelp Ascophyllum nodosum. It promotes rapid root formation, supports plants through transplant stress and works in soil, coco, rockwool and clay pebbles. Its low EC means you can include it in a propagation tank without adjusting your feeding strength.
Handling and storage
With a can this size, an inline doser or a dosing pump on your mixing station saves time and keeps every tank the same. Decant a working amount into a smaller bottle and leave the main can sealed. Store it dark, closed and frost-free, and give it a good shake before each pour, because the extract can settle over time.
The schedule stays simple: 4 ml/L at the start and after repotting, 2 ml/L in veg, 0.5 ml/L in flower, always added before your base nutrients. In recirculating systems, replace the solution every 5 to 7 days.
