Running a few tents at once or a dedicated grow room with a mother plant and a steady stream of cuttings? Then small bottles disappear fast. The 5 L jug of Canna Rhizotonic is for growers who mix large tanks and want the lower price per litre that comes with it.
Why growers use it
Rhizotonic is a concentrated kelp extract from Ascophyllum nodosum. It gets new roots going in the first days after sticking a cutting or potting up, and helps plants pick up again after any kind of stress. It suits soil, coco and hydro, and because it barely touches EC you can run it on the youngest plants in the room.
Numbers for a bigger set-up
At the veg rate of 2 ml/L, five litres stretch to roughly 2,500 L of nutrient solution. Feed a 200 L tank and that is about twelve full tank fills. At the 4 ml/L starting dose you still get around 1,250 L.
Dosing at scale
Pouring from a 5 L jug into a measuring cup is messy and imprecise. A dosing pump or a small pour-off bottle you refill from the jug makes life easier. Add Rhizotonic first, then your base feed, and correct pH at the end. Drop to 0.5 ml/L in flower, and in recirculating systems refresh every 5 to 7 days.
