Duct Connector 250 mm – airtight joiner for 250 mm ventilation ducting
Moving from tent-sized ducting to a bigger extraction line usually means 250 mm. This connector joins two pieces of 250 mm ducting, or two fittings of that diameter, into one continuous line.
When you need one
Your duct run is a metre short, a section got torn, or you want to link a flange to a length of hose: in all three cases a straight connector is the simple fix. It fits the 250 mm flanges and Combiconnect ducting in our shop, so you can build out a complete 250 mm system for your grow room.
How it works
Slide one duct or fitting over each end of the connector and secure both sides with a hose clamp or aluminium tape. An airtight joint matters: any gap lets your extraction fan pull in false air, which costs suction at the filter and in the tent. Run the fan afterwards and feel around the joint for leaks.
Good to know
At 250 mm, aluminium tape alone holds well on a straight run. Where the line hangs or moves with the fan, add a hose clamp on both sides as well. Keep the joint somewhere you can reach, so you can check it when you clean or swap your carbon filter.
