Duct Connector 315 mm – sealed straight joint for 315 mm extraction lines
With 315 mm you're in grow room territory: bigger fans, bigger filters and longer duct runs. This straight connector links two 315 mm ducts or fittings, so you can extend a line, bridge a gap or replace a damaged stretch without buying a new roll.
How it works
Slide one duct or fitting over each end of the connector and secure both sides with a hose clamp or aluminium tape. An airtight joint matters: any gap lets your extraction fan pull in false air, which costs suction at the filter and in the tent. Run the fan afterwards and feel around the joint for leaks.
Practical tips at 315 mm
Larger ducting is heavier and more likely to sag, which puts strain on joints. Support the duct on either side of the connector with a strap or hanger, so the joint carries no weight. Use a hose clamp on both ends and finish with a wrap of aluminium tape for a tight seal. A connector is also a good place to split a long run into sections you can take down separately for cleaning.
