Reliable room heating for larger grow rooms in the cold season
Low temperatures are one of the underestimated stress factors in indoor growing. If the room temperature drops too far, the plant's metabolism slows down, nutrient uptake through the roots becomes less efficient and growth stalls. The Industrial Heater DM 3kW was developed to counter this problem in larger grow rooms: as a portable fan heater with a ceramic PTC heating element, it keeps the temperature stable within the desired range even in the colder months, and even with a larger room volume than smaller fan heater models can handle. The PTC ceramic element generates heat without consuming oxygen or producing smoke or lingering odours, apart from a slight smell during the first hours of operation, which then disappears. An integrated fan distributes the heat evenly around the room, giving a more uniform temperature than spot heat sources. The adjustable thermostat switches the unit on and off automatically to maintain the set target temperature without manual readjustment. The unit also has overheat protection with automatic restart. Use: the Industrial Heater DM 3kW has two heat settings of 2,000 and 3,000 watts plus an off position, so you can adjust the heating output to the room size and outside temperature. With its higher maximum output, the 3 kW model is particularly suitable for larger grow rooms or rooms with greater heat loss than the smaller 2 kW model can cope with. The unit can be wall-mounted or free-standing on the floor, allowing flexible positioning in the grow room or tent. It is particularly relevant in the colder months, when the room temperature would otherwise fall below the optimal level for plant growth.
