A full grow room, a greenhouse or an outdoor plot needs more than a couple of litres per round. The 8 L Dutch Masters Hydroflow Pressure Sprayer is the largest in the series, made for growers who mist or foliar-feed a lot of plants at once.

Where 8 L makes sense

With eight litres on board you can work through a large canopy without walking back to the mixing station. It still runs on hand pressure only, so you are free to move between rows, outside or in a room with no spare socket.

Working with a bigger tank

A full tank is noticeably heavier, so many growers fill it to the volume they actually need and top up later. Build pressure with steady strokes, then re-pump now and then as the mist starts to weaken. Mix foliar products in a bucket first and pour through a fine sieve if you can, which keeps the nozzle clear.

Besides foliar feeding and plant tonics, a large sprayer is handy for wetting down the floor or cleaning surfaces with plain water between runs, using a separate tank for that if you like to keep things strictly apart.

After every session, rinse with clean water and let the pressure off, so the seals last.
