Yellow Sticky Traps 10 × 25 cm (10 Pieces): product details and use
Monitoring flying insects with yellow sticky traps
Small flying insects such as whiteflies, fungus gnats, aphids and thrips are common in indoor growing and are often hard to spot. Yellow sticky traps help you keep track of what is flying around in your grow room: yellow attracts a particularly broad range of flying insects, making the traps a versatile tool for general monitoring. The double-sided sticky surface catches flying insects that approach the trap, such as whiteflies, fungus gnats, aphids, leaf miners and, to some extent, thrips. This lets you follow over time how many insects are present, for example whether the number caught is rising or falling. Because the traps are chemical-free, they also work well alongside beneficial insects. Use: hang the yellow sticky traps in your tent or grow room or place them on stakes. For insects such as whitefly or aphids, they are usually positioned at the height of the upper foliage, while for fungus gnats they can also be laid horizontally closer to the soil or medium surface, where these insects are active. For regular monitoring, check the traps weekly, for example, and replace them when they are heavily covered or lose their stickiness. They are suitable for both the vegetative and flowering stages. The sticky traps work with any growing medium and are equally suitable for soil, coco and hydro systems, as they only catch flying insects in the room. Compatibility: the yellow sticky traps can easily be combined with blue sticky traps, which are particularly attractive to thrips, as well as with beneficial insects, as they are chemical-free and do not interact with nutrients or other products.
