When you root trays of cuttings every few weeks, transplant dozens of plants per cycle or run large hydro reservoirs, the small pack disappears quickly. The 907 g (32 oz) pack of Great White Premium Mycorrhizae is eight times the 113 g size and the economical choice for grow rooms, nurseries and multi-tent growers.
Bulk numbers
At about 5 g (one teaspoon) per 40 L of water, the pack gives you around 180 hydro doses, or roughly 7,200 L of treated reservoir water. If you mainly dust planting holes and root balls, it covers hundreds of transplants.
Why growers use it
Great White combines 16 endo- and ectomycorrhizal species with beneficial bacteria and Trichoderma. They colonise the roots and help build a strong, active root zone that takes up water and nutrients more efficiently. It is a water-soluble powder that suits soil, coco and hydro.
Working at scale
For cuttings, pour a small amount into a separate dish for dipping instead of dipping into the pack, so moisture and plant material stay out of your stock. At transplanting, a light dusting in each hole is enough; more is not better. In hydro, pre-dissolve the powder in a bucket of water before adding it to the reservoir.
Store the opened pack sealed, cool and dry, and work through it within a reasonable time. Decanting a few weeks' supply into a small airtight jar keeps the rest protected.
