How far 1 kg goes
Guanokalong's guideline for pots and planters is 100 g per 15 L of potting soil, mixed in before planting. So 1 kg enriches about 150 L of soil: roughly thirteen 11 L pots, or a 150 L raised bed in one go. Outdoors, 1 kg is enough for 5–10 m².
Why growers use it
Guano feeds the soil as well as the plant. It stimulates microbial activity and helps soil structure, while the slow release means you do not have to think about phosphorus for weeks. The pellet form is clean and nearly dust-free, easy to scatter as a top dressing.
Good to know
Mix through fresh substrate before planting. Later in the grow, scatter extra pellets over the soil as needed, rake them in and water well. It suits soil, indoor and outdoor, in veg and flower. Close the bag after use and keep it dry.
