The High Flow carbon filter DM HK 1250 m³/h is an odour control solution for high-capacity extraction systems. It reduces odour-causing compounds in the air of an indoor garden before the exhaust air is vented out of the growing area through the ventilation system. With a rated airflow of 1250 m³/h and a 250 mm flange, this model is intended for appropriately sized extraction setups.
Filtration is done by activated carbon. This material has a large internal surface area and can bind a range of gaseous compounds by adsorption, which makes a carbon filter particularly suitable wherever odour control within an extraction system matters.

The carbon filter is typically mounted inside the grow tent or right next to the extraction point, so the air passes through the carbon before leaving the growing area. A carbon filter combined with a suitable extraction fan forms the basis of controlled odour filtration.
How to use
Connect the filter via its 250 mm flange to extraction ducting of the same size. In a classic grow tent setup, air from the growing area is drawn through the carbon filter and then pushed on through the ducting by the inline fan.
Mount the filter securely, as its weight needs to be carried by suitable hangers. All connections between filter, fan and ducting should be as airtight as possible.
Before operating, also check that the fan you are using can handle the required airflow and the resistance created by the extraction system. Long duct runs, many bends, reducers or additional filters can reduce airflow.
Compatibility
The DM HK High Flow carbon filter is suitable for extraction systems with a 250 mm connection. It can be combined with matching 250 mm inline fans, ducting, connectors and other ventilation components. For components with a different diameter, you will need suitable adapters or reducers. Keep in mind that extra transitions can increase airflow resistance.
