The Inline Filter DM, with a rated airflow of 1000 m³/h and a 250 mm flange, is intended for high-capacity extraction systems. In grow tents and indoor gardens, an inline carbon filter like this reduces odour-causing compounds in the exhaust air before it leaves the growing area.
The filter works on the basis of activated carbon. Thanks to its porous structure, activated carbon has a large internal surface area on which a range of gaseous compounds can be adsorbed. This makes it a proven filter medium for odour control in ventilation and extraction systems.

How to use

Depending on the layout, the filter can be installed before the fan so that the air drawn in passes through the filter medium first.
When mounting, make sure it is securely fixed and that the joints are as airtight as possible. Do not let the filter hang freely from flexible ducting if the ducting cannot properly support its weight.
Before starting up, it is a good idea to check the whole extraction line for unnecessary bottlenecks and sharp kinks. Avoid reducers wherever they are not needed for the installation. An airflow path that is as even as possible helps the extraction system run efficiently.
Compatibility
The Inline Filter DM 1000 m³/h is suitable for extraction systems with 250 mm connections. It can be combined with matching 250 mm inline fans, ducting and other components for grow and indoor ventilation systems. For other connection sizes, you will need suitable adapters.
For the best system design, the output of the inline fan should suit the filter and the entire extraction line. With powerful fans in particular, allow for the extra pressure loss caused by the filter and other components.
