Matrix Cal/Mag 1 L – calcium and magnesium supply for RO water and coco
Growing with soft tap water, an RO filter or in coco? Then Cal/Mag is less of an extra and more of a fixture, and the 1 L bottle is the practical size to keep on the shelf for one or two tents.
What it does
Matrix Cal/Mag from the Matrix MTX line by Fenix MTX (Germany) adds calcium and magnesium to your feed. Calcium supports nutrient uptake, while magnesium keeps photosynthesis running until harvest. Its real value shows in the final weeks of flower: by then, fast-growing plants have often stripped the substrate, and shortages show up as weak growth or yellowing leaves at the worst possible moment.
Dosing
Follow the Matrix MTX feeding schedule on the label; Fenix does not publish a fixed ml/L on its product page. Give a little extra attention late in flower and whenever your water is very soft.
Mixing order
Fill your tank or can with water, add Cal/Mag first and stir, and only then add your base nutrients and other additives. Putting calcium into an already concentrated mix can cause it to bind with other elements and drop out. Check EC and pH at the end. Shake the bottle before every use.
