Product description
Matrix Cal/Mag 100 ml – calcium and magnesium plant nutrient additive, small bottle
Not sure yet whether your plants actually need extra calcium and magnesium? The 100 ml bottle is for exactly that question. Use it on a small tent, or on a couple of plants that are starting to look pale late in flower, and see whether things improve before you stock up.
When Cal/Mag helps
Matrix Cal/Mag, from the German Matrix MTX range by Fenix MTX, raises the share of calcium and magnesium in your feed. That matters most when you grow with soft water or reverse osmosis water, in coco, and in the last weeks of flower, when fast-growing plants have often used up what the substrate had to offer. Calcium supports nutrient uptake; magnesium keeps photosynthesis going right to the end.
Measuring small amounts
The dose comes from the Matrix MTX feeding schedule on the label, as the manufacturer gives no fixed ml/L online. With a bottle this size you will be mixing small volumes, so a syringe is much more accurate than the cap.
Always add Cal/Mag to the water first, before your other nutrients, so calcium does not react with concentrated phosphates or sulphates. Shake the bottle, mix, then check EC and pH.
