Matrix EnZym 5 L – enzyme treatment in bulk for grow rooms on inert substrates
A clean root zone is the basis of every strong grow, and in a room full of rockwool slabs or coco bags that's a lot of root zone to keep clean. The 5 L container of Matrix EnZym is made for larger grows and grow rooms in the Matrix MTX programme by Fenix MTX (Germany), and it brings the cost per litre down compared with the small bottles.
Why growers use it
EnZym is an enzyme mixture that breaks down dead root material. Cellulose and other polysaccharides are converted into water-soluble monosaccharides that you simply flush away. That keeps substrates clean through the whole cycle, which matters most in inert media like rockwool and coco.
At grow room scale
If you mix in a central tank, add EnZym to the nutrient solution according to the Matrix MTX feeding schedule with every batch, from start to finish. With an automatic doser, give it its own channel. Shake or roll the container before you draw off product. Keep it closed and out of direct light, and decant a working amount into a smaller bottle so the main container stays sealed. After mixing, check EC and pH as usual.
Good combination
The manufacturer recommends combining EnZym with Matrix Rooting or Matrix Hydro Rooting.
