What potassium does
Potassium strengthens cell tissue, regulates the stomata and with that the plant's water balance, and helps move nutrients through the plant. According to Fenix MTX, the German maker of the Matrix MTX range, extra potassium also increases the plant's readiness to flower. K20 is chloride-free, taken up quickly and, as the manufacturer puts it, very economical in use.
When to use it
Add K20 to your base feed when your plants show a potassium deficiency, or during flower to support bloom. Because it is a single element, it lets you correct one thing without changing the rest of your nutrient balance.
Dosing
The amount is given in the Matrix MTX feeding schedule on the label; Fenix does not list a fixed ml/L online. When correcting a deficiency, go step by step and watch the new growth for a few days before adding more. Shake well, add it to your nutrient solution together with the base feed, then check EC and pH.
