The 5 L container of Matrix pH- 59% from Fenix MTX (Germany) is made for larger grows and grow rooms. It's a highly concentrated pH down based on phosphoric acid that brings your nutrient solution to target fast while adding phosphorus.
Matrix MTX targets
Soil: pH 5.8–6.2. Hydro and coco: around 5.8. Always add pH- after the nutrients, in small steps, stirring and re-measuring each time.
Working with a 5 L container
Never decant a corrosive acid into a drinks bottle. Use a clearly labelled, acid-resistant dosing bottle for daily work and keep the 5 L container closed in between. If you use a pH controller or dosing pump, check the tubing regularly, because concentrated acid is hard on cheap hoses. In a large tank, let the circulation pump run a few minutes after each addition before you read the pH meter.
Safety and storage
The product is corrosive: wear gloves and eye protection and avoid any contact with skin and eyes. Rinse eyes with water after contact; wash skin with soap and water. Store the container dark, frost-free and at 10–25 °C, out of reach of children.
