Product description
Matrix Soil Vega 1 L – grow-phase base nutrient for soil, tent size
Starting a soil grow in a tent and want a base feed that keeps things simple? The 1 L bottle of Matrix Soil Vega covers veg in one or two tents and is a manageable way into the Matrix MTX soil programme.
What it does
Soil Vega, made by Fenix MTX in Germany, is the veg base nutrient for soil. Its main elements are nitrogen and calcium, which the manufacturer describes as supporting photosynthesis and nutrient transport. On top of that come the trace elements boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc, so leaves stay green and growth stays sturdy.
How it fits with Soil Flores
The Matrix soil programme uses two bottles. Soil Vega carries calcium; Matrix Soil Flores carries the nutrients that cannot be stored with calcium, such as phosphate and sulphur. Together they form complete nutrition for soil, and the schedule tells you how to combine them as you move into flower.
Dosing in practice
Fenix does not publish a fixed ml/L on its website; follow the Matrix MTX feeding schedule on the label for each week of veg. Shake the bottle, add Soil Vega to your watering can, stir, and only then add any other products. Young plants in fresh soil often need very little at first, so start at the low end of the schedule and adjust as they grow. Check EC and pH after mixing.
