Spraying a full grow room, a greenhouse or rows of mother plants with a backpack sprayer is a different job from misting one tent. The 5 L can of Matrix Spraymix is aimed at that scale, and at growers who want the lowest price per litre.
What's inside
A liquid foliar fertiliser from the Matrix MTX programme by Fenix MTX, Germany, made for very fast nutrient uptake through the leaf. The manufacturer promises healthy green foliage and more resilient plants when it is used through veg and the start of flower.
Five litres in numbers
Fenix gives 20 ml per 100 L of water for plants that need a lift, which is 0.2 ml/L. At that rate the can makes up to 25,000 L of spray. A 16 L backpack sprayer needs only about 3 ml per fill, so this size lasts large operations a long time.
Working at scale
Use a graduated pipette or syringe for the small doses and mix in a clean bucket before filling the sprayer. Spray in the dark period or at low light, starting in the first 2–3 weeks of growth, and stop no later than two weeks after flowering begins. A fine nozzle gives even coverage without runoff. Because the can will last a long time, storage matters: keep it closed, frost-free and away from light, and shake it before every use.
