Concentrated living soil substrate for organic soil growing
Living soil is based on the principle that active soil life with microorganisms naturally supports the plant's nutrient supply. Monster Living Soil Concentrate was developed as a concentrated substrate that builds exactly this soil environment when mixed with a regular seedling soil. It is suitable for the entire grow cycle, from planting young plants to the flowering stage, and forms the basis of a biologically active, organically fed growing medium. The concentrate consists of a blend of sphagnum peat with a decomposition level of H3 to H6, coco fibre, worm castings, perlite, and calcium carbonate and magnesium lime for pH stabilisation, supplemented with an organic-mineral NPK 7-7-7 fertiliser. The organic matter content is 28% (based on net mass). The substrate also contains mycorrhizal fungi as well as Trichoderma spp. and other beneficial fungi, which enlarge the root surface and can support the plant's nutrient and water uptake. Laboratory analyses show good biological activity in the substrate (1,006 µg PNP/g dry matter/h). The pH is 7.4 and the salt content is 6.0 g/l. Use: mix Monster Soil Concentrate 1:1 with an organic seedling soil such as All-Mix or Light-Mix, for example 50 litres of concentrate with 50 litres of All-Mix for 100 litres of ready-to-use growing medium. For young plants or seedlings, we recommend first making a planting hole with about 0.5 litres of Light-Mix as a buffer zone, to let the plant adjust gently to the nutrient-rich substrate. A pot volume of at least 11 litres per plant is recommended. Water only with chlorine-free water; extra pH correction is usually not needed, and waterlogging should be avoided. Used substrate can be reused by mixing 3 to 4 litres of fresh Monster Soil Concentrate into every 10 litres of old soil. The product is suitable for both the vegetative and flowering stages and is designed specifically for soil growing. Compatibility: Monster Living Soil Concentrate is designed to be combined with organic seedling soils such as All-Mix or Light-Mix and can generally be combined with other organic soil improvers, provided this does not lead to sudden overfeeding.
