PE Adapter 20 mm x 1" Male Thread – connect 20 mm pipe to threaded pumps and filters
Pumps, filters, taps and reservoir outlets almost always come with a thread, while your drip line is smooth PE pipe. This adapter with a 1" male thread on one side and a 20 mm PE connection on the other bridges the two, so you get a solid, watertight start to your irrigation line.
Typical setups
Growers with one or two tents or a small room often run 20 mm from the pump to the tents and branch off from there. Screw the adapter into the 1" female outlet of the pump or filter, push on the pipe, and the line is ready for tees, elbows and drippers. It also works on a reservoir outlet tap for gravity-fed setups.
Making it watertight
Wrap a few turns of PTFE tape clockwise around the outer thread, looking at the end of the fitting, so the tape doesn't unwind when you screw it in. Tighten by hand and give it a small extra turn; plastic thread doesn't need brute force. Then fit the 20 mm pipe on the other side and make sure it's fully seated. Run the pump for a few minutes and check for drips before you leave the system on a timer.
