PE Adapter 25 mm x 1" Male Thread – pump-to-main-line connector for larger systems
In bigger grow rooms the 25 mm main line starts at the pump, the filter or the outlet of a large reservoir. This 25 mm PE adapter with 1" male thread is the fitting that makes that first connection: thread on one side, pipe on the other, and a full-bore transition so the pump's output goes straight into the main line.
Why the first joint matters
This joint sits where pressure and flow are highest. A weak seal here sprays water across the room; a narrow connection limits every zone downstream. Keeping 25 mm right up to the pump outlet means the main line gets the full flow your pump can give, before tees split it over tables and zones.
Fitting it properly
Wrap PTFE tape around the 1" outer thread, in the direction you'll screw it in, and screw the adapter into the 1" female thread of the pump, filter or tank tap. Tighten firmly by hand plus a small turn. Then push the 25 mm pipe onto the other side and check it's fully seated. Support the pipe close to the adapter with a clip or bracket, so a heavy water-filled line doesn't lever on the thread. Run the system and check for leaks before you leave it unattended.
