PE Connector 25 mm – straight coupling to join or repair 25 mm PE irrigation pipe
In larger grow rooms the 25 mm main line often runs a long way, from the pump past several tables or rows of pots. When you need to extend it, reroute it or fix a section that got kinked or cut, this PE connector joins two lengths of 25 mm PE pipe in a straight line.
Why a straight coupling
A straight joint keeps the full bore of the pipe, so water and nutrient solution keep moving at full flow towards the drippers at the far end. The connector is made of robust, water-resistant plastic for continuous use in irrigation systems.
Fitting it
Cut both pipe ends square with a pipe cutter or a sharp knife; an angled cut is the most common cause of a slow leak. Push or tighten each end firmly into the connector until it is fully seated. Then run water through the line and check the joint before you leave it unattended.
Repairs on the go
Damaged a line? Cut out the bad part cleanly and bridge the gap with the connector. If the gap is wider, add a short piece of new pipe and a second connector. Keeping two or three of these on the shelf saves a lot of stress when a line fails mid-cycle.
PE pipe is sized by its outside diameter, so check that your pipe measures 25 mm on the outside before ordering. Matching tees, elbows, end pieces and adapters are available in the same range.
