Plagron Calmag Pro 10 L – calcium and magnesium base in professional volume
When every litre of water in your room comes from an RO unit, CalMag is not an occasional extra but the first step of every single mix. The 10 L can of Plagron Calmag Pro is made for large grow rooms and professional growers who use high volumes.
Ten litres at scale
At the maximum of 1 ml/L the can is enough for 10,000 L of water. With RO water, Plagron's guideline is about 0.75 ml/L for a starting EC of roughly 0.4, which stretches it to around 13,300 L. Mixing 500 L a day, that is close to a month of daily batches at the RO rate.
What's inside
A calcium and magnesium plant nutrient additive with NPK 5-0-0 and CaO 5.7% / MgO 3.3%. The balanced ratio prevents calcium and magnesium competing for uptake. It is designed for RO and soft water, and for LED grows, where plants transpire less and so take up less Ca and Mg. A stable supply supports strong cell walls, plant resilience and young root growth.
Working with the 10 L can
In an automated set-up, make Calmag Pro the first dosing channel so it goes into plain water before anything else. By hand, use a graduated cylinder and decant from the can into a smaller bottle. After Calmag, add base nutrients and additives and set pH to 5.5–6.5. Shake the can before use, keep it closed and store it frost-free.
