Plagron Growmix with Perlite 50 L – mineral grow soil for a full tent
Filling a complete grow tent at once is cheaper and quicker with the big bag. The 50 L of Plagron Growmix with Perlite fills about four 11 L pots, or two 25 L containers, which is a typical setup for a 1 × 1 m tent. You get the same pre-fertilised, peat-based mineral substrate from the 100% TERRA line.
Why growers use it
The mix is ready to plant in. A mineral base dressing of 1.8 kg/m³ with NPK 12-14-24 covers about the first three weeks, worm castings help growth and water retention, and the perlite keeps the structure open so roots get air and excess water drains away. It is designed to work with Terra Grow, Terra Bloom and the Plagron additives.
Planning a run
Fill the pots a day before planting and give them a first watering, so the substrate is evenly moist when the plants go in. Start feeding from around week 4, first with Terra Grow and later Terra Bloom. Check pH (5.5–6.5) and EC of your feed regularly, since this is a mineral setup. Store any opened bag closed and out of direct sun.
